Licity started the day going to the mall for one of her favorite friend's birthday party. They dressed up, put on make-up and got their hair done. Heaven!
Maci was not originally invited, but was so excited when she heard it was time to go to the princess party that she got herself dressed with shoes and everything. The mom felt bad and insisted she tag along! She loved it!
After the birthday party, we headed to our cousin's for another party. Licity, who normally runs from the camera, is quickly following in her cousin Brooklyn's footsteps as she strikes a pose!

Maci decided she could swim "aw by myself". She insisted on practicing like we make Licity and so I thought I would see what happens if I let her go... apparently she swims! We've practiced a little more since then and sure enough, she can swim! She's 2 people!!Finally it was time for the real show! We were a little late and just grabbed a spot on the nearest sidewalk. But, for us, it was perfect!
Maci might have been the only one excited, but that alone was worth it!

Cute, fun pics Kate! You are lucky you live close to family to celebrate holidays with. Maybe we will too one day... Can't believe Macy is swimming. Actually I can, she seems to be a quick learner so I'm not surprised! Glad you had a fun 4th!

Okay so I haven't checked your blog in a little while...SO JEALOUS that Maci is potty trained!! Davis (who turned 2 in may) is so not there. But he is also a boy!! LOVE all your pictures. I was crackin up that Maci can swim b/c Davis just did the same thing on Sat at the pool. Except he forgets (or hasn't figured it out yet) that you must come up for air. So I won't let him do it by himself like he wants me to. I'm such a mean mom :o) If you want to take a trip to TX before school starts - I'd LOVE to have ya :o)
Great pictures Katheryn. Thanks for keeping us updated. I wish we were there to enjoy the Holidays with you. There were no 4th of July fireworks here in Romania but, they do shoot off fireworks most weekends for wedding receptions.
